Smile Diff b/w advise and advice

Hi All,

Of late, i joined in this forum. I just want to know "what is the difference between "advise" and "advice"? I requst you all to clarify my doubt.

Advise=Verb
Advice=Noun

We will advise you on any financial matter.
They were badly advised by their solicitor.

advise = verb

I hope you can give me some useful advice.
I wished she hadn't ignored his advice.

advice = noun (Note that advice is uncountable)

Advice (noun) - suggestion or recommendation. Advise (verb) - to suggest.

Pronunciation:

advi[s]e (noun); e.g., to give advice
advi[z]e (verb); e.g., they advise...
