i think the prepositions should be used here are ( at or for ).
i work at a compny in London . or
i work for a company in London .
((Not a teacher))
I think it should be:
1) I work with Xyz(company) in India.
2) I work in XYz (company) in India.
Thank you sir. I referred this to my friend. He said that the usage of in comes according to the context.
His argument is
I work in (some x place) (which is) in (some y place).
He says 'which is' is implied and there is no need to mention about it.
My normal expectation would be:
I work for xxxx company in London [employed by them in a permanent capacity]
I work with xxxx company in Bangkok [not necessarily employed by the company, but working in association with it]
You might also phrase it
I am working in/for/with xxx company for the next six months [temporary employment]
