"i do tell him that you called
i have a question: Can I say "I do tell him that you called" meaning that "I will tell him that you called"? i know that the former is probably wrong but i thought i might want to use it to put a little bit more emphasis on it.

Nope, it will not work. You have to necessarily say:I will tell him that you called.

Hi,
You could say, "I will certainly tell him that you called." to put more emphasis on it.
