Default in/within/during

Housing prices have dropped sharply in the past few years.

Housing prices have dropped sharply within the past few years.

Housing prices have dropped sharply during the past few years.

1. Are all three above having the same meaning?

2. What do in/within/during mean? past |-------------------> now ?

Thanks

I'll have it ready within a week = a week is the limit I am setting; it could be before then.
I'll do it in a week- It could mean that I will startin a week or that it will take the week to do.
I stay there during the holidays- for some of the time
