Lightbulb every day vs. everyday

Hi there!

- Every day (adverbial of time)
He goes to school every day

- Everyday (adjective) as one word = daily
Cheese and milk are everyday products

My question is >>
Are these sentence correct? If yes, does Every day here function as noun?

Every day passes is from our lifetime
Every day brings new hope

If you can substitute 'each day' in place of 'every day', 'every day' is correct.
So every day is appropriate in your sentences.

I would rewrite the first sentence "Every day passes...", but at the moment I have no idea how.

There is nothing wrong with 'every day' in the sentence

Every day passes is from our lifetime

But I think the sentence as such is incorrect.

What do our native speakers think?

EVERYDAY (one word) -adj.qualifiesthe word LIFE.
EVERY DAY(two words)...EVERY-adj.qualifies the word 'DAY'.
EVERYDAY occurrence...(one word)

Sorry, I don't mean to be impatient.

I'm agonising over the sentence below, the part in the bracketts.
It sounds odd to me, as if something/some word is missing. Is the sentence correct or not?

Every day (passes is from our lifetime)

I would appreciate it if a native speaker could help here.

I'm so sorry, I somehow must have rushed past this post.

You were quite right to suggest that something wasn't quite right

so possibly

Every day that (passes is one taken from the rest of our life/lives)

There is a nice quote from Seneca

One should count each day a separate life.

hope this helps.

Many thanks, bea.

You have just put me out of my misery. What a wonderful feeling!!

Another tiny little question:

why did you change 'is missing' to 'was missing'?

Thank you!!

Sorry,my mistake,I was probably just too focused on the aspect of what the situation seemed to be like

as if something/some word is missing would be fine with me
