Default Yes/No test questions

Hi everybody,

Could you please tell me the other name for "Yes/No test question"?
Some people have told me it may be "True/False test question" but I think it's not exactly right because while the former consists of a set of interrogative sentences, the latter consist of a set of affirmative sentences.
So is there any other name for that kind of question?

Thank you very much in advance

Hi, newbie!

I think you might be over-analyzing the "True/False" situation. Common usage for this type of test is simply "True/False".

If it makes you feel better, you could visualize every true statement as an interrogative:
The sun always rises in the east. (True)
(Does) the sun always rise in the east? (Yes = True)

Cheers,
Amigo

Hi Tdol and Amigos4, :)
Thank you very much for your help. By the way, is there any other name for that kind of test?

P.S: Just one more thing: I am a new member here, so I don't know much about the site. When I look at your personal information, I see these:

Tdol has disabled reputation
amigos4 has a spectacular aura about

=> Could you please tell me what they mean?

Many thanks in advance
Newbie :)

Newbie,
If you look at the square box(es) under the word "thanked..." you will get a clue as to the meaning of the statements that appear when you place your cursor over the boxes. The more times you are thanked the more times the statement will change. Tdol, as an administrator, has chosen to disable this function from his profile. The rest of us do not have any direct control as to what the statement is going to be.
Look at some of the boxes that appear in the profile of other members. You will see a correlation to the number of times they have been 'thanked' for their assistance.

Cheers,
Amigo
