    Default unchained melody

"And time can do so much "
    1. So much of what? Please explain.

"God speed your love to me. "
    2. What does 'God speed' mean? Is it anything to do with a safe trip?

    3. Is 'Godspeed something to someone' common usage?

Note: Godspeed - expressing wish for safe journey: used to wish somebody a safe trip or successful endeavor

    Hi,
Time can do so much to alter ones feelings, "are you still mine".

"God speed" can indeed be expressing a wish for a safe journey.

In the context of the song though I think that the singer is asking God to send "your" love to him quickly.

    Unchained Melody Lyrics

When it was first written for a film soundtrack, it evoked the feelings of a man in jail wondering whether his love would still be there when he got out.

And bhaisabab is quite right about 'godspeed'. It is a fairly archaic wish to someone setting out on a journey (as one word - like 'goodbye' [=God be with you]), and the song uses it as two words to change the wish from a wish directed at a departing person into a wish for divine intervention - '[may] God [make the necessary arrangements to] speed [transitive] your love to me'.
