    Default meaning

    Hi,

could you please tell me what does "electronically" refer to in the following sentence:

The company reserves the right to request source documents and/or inspect the xrays electronically during the initial data entry.

Does it refer to the "inspection of xrays" or also to the "source documents"?

    Thanks a lot!

    Morning Hanka.

It seems that only the x-rays may be electonically inspected.

I would say that the sentence is inherently ambiguous and should be better organised, but my take on this would be as stated.

Plus, it would be logical to expect that x-rays can be electonically inspected.
