Default meaning?

Hi,

could you please explain the meaning of the highligted part:

The site acknowledges that its obligations under this agreement are data collection and reporting and do not involve company or investigator providing information regarding treatment of patients.

Does it mean that the company or investigator should not provide information regarding treatment of patients? But the sentence is about the site's obligations, so I am a little confused.

Thanks a lot!

Hanka

Are "company and investigator" the site owners or external agents?

It is a contract between site on one part and company and investigator on the other. The site assists the company by providing certain services for a consideration.

The site does not require the company or investigators to provide it with information regarding the treatment of patients.
