We are debating the following:
I am planning a promotion and would like to use "Xerox are coming" but have been told that it should be "Xerox is coming" Please let me know which is correct
Perhaps even more properly: Representatives from Xerox are coming. The company itself isn't coming. However, informally, we do refer to people from a company that way.
