How does the latter part mean? It is saying that two people liking each other because they share something in common in their minds, but not because they are sexually interested in each other? Thanks. :)

dictionary definition goes:
a situation when two or more people have the same opinions about something.

In this context it relates to the relationship between those two people where they have a complete understanding of each other and that makes for a good connection.
