Dear Teacher,

Kindly explain what is the meaning of the word wachamacallit..Is my spelling right?

It's an all-purpose word we use when we can't think of the right word.
"Pass me the wachamacallit so I can prise open this drawer"
"I saw him at the wachamacallit last night."
"That girl I saw you with is quite wachamacallit, isn't she?"

Not sure about the spelling, but it looks right.

Just thought - a similar word is a "thingummybob".
Again, not certain about the spelling, but this one is only used for an object.
"Turn the thingummybob and that'll stop it leaking".
"Give the thingummybob a squeeze and let's see what happens"

I think you missed out " h" in the word.
