Supplier warrants that in the event that the company is deemed to be a co-employer of supplierīs employees with respect to any union petition for election, the company retains the absolute right to respond to any inquiries or other actions undertaken by any union official.
Is it a petition of a labour union asking for election? But election of whom? Members of the same union?

As to the phrase, presumably a petition that the union wishes to have adopted by the company/companies.
