| I'm reading a shortstory called Hairball and I happened to find an expression I cannot understand. Talking about a very prissy character, it reads: "Her mind was room by room Laura Ashley wallpaper: tiny, unopened pastel buds arranged in straight rows." I can't find the meaning of room by room. I'd really appreciate if you could help me out with an explanation or a translation or as you can! Thanks in advanced |
