Default Can I phrase it this way?

    Hello everyone

I'd like to ask if I can phrase the sentence this way:

The staff will be increasing until the maximum productivity of the plant is reached in 2010.

Or better say "The number of employees will be increasing"?

There is possible ambiguity, but everyone knows you mean increasing in number and not in size.

"Staff will be increasing" sounds vaguely like they are all getting fatter.

The number of employees will increase is okay, but why not make it more positive?

We plan to graduallly add jobs at this plant until 2010, when we expect to be at full capacity.
