Default Representing Types of Syllabus on a Continuum

Hello,

I am doing a research on Syllbus and Syllabus Design.
My query is that can we represent the types of syllabus on a continuum i.e. starting from the least communicative to the most OR from purely grammatical to communicative?

Default Re: Representing Types of Syllabus on a Continuum

You can show them on a continuum. It's the standard way to do it. Here they are:
  • Non-communicative learning
  • Pre-communicative language practice
  • Communicative language practice
  • Structured communication
  • Authentic communication
