Question Portmanteau

I need to know what 2 words make up "glugging". I have Portmanteau homework. .

To glub means to make a gurgling sound as of liquid issuing from a bottle; glug, glug, glug. It's an example of onomatopoeia.

The portmanteau words that come instantly to my mind are "motel" (motor + hotel) and "brunch" (breakfast + lunch). But certainly you have already put them in your homework . For more examples you can always ask Google . Portmanteau Words
