| Please look at this multiple choice question: We ... out yesterday because it ... a. hadn't gone - was raining b. didn't go - rained c. didn't go - was raining d. didn't go - had been raining -> Which is the better choice, b or c and why? Many thanks Newbie |

| If I wanted to keep this sentence, I would remove option c) and add 'all day'.. |
