take counsel of oneself?
Dante did not take counsel of himself and say" Go to, let us describe the traitors frozen up to their necks in a dismal lake, for that will be most terrible"
1) What does go to mean here?
2) what does take counsel of oneself mean here?
Re: take counsel of oneself?
