ripley is an unknown quantity at this point
Default peas piece peace

Hello,

I'd like to know to pronounce these words properly. I would pronounce piece and peace in the same way, whereas I would pronounce peas with a voiced s at the end (piz). Am I right?
Thanks Ripley

Yes indeed: /pi:z/ for peas and /pi:s/ for peace.

Are we using the same phonetic symbols? To me, /piz/ would be pronounced 'pizz' and /pis/. . .well. . . .
