Writing Problems in IELTS

Hello! I major in English in a university, and I am now a junior student. I still find myself confuse about illustrating my points in an essay clearly. I really have tried a lot of methods to improve it, such as reading writing samples, learning advanced expressions and using all kinds of writing skills. But no matter how hard I tried, I only got 5.5 point for writing part in IELTS. I feel depressed and I asked for helf from someone around me. Sadly, they even regard this kind of problem as my wrong way of logical thinking....

Could someone help me out?
