Do I need commas in this sentence?
Hello everyone
I'd like to ask if commas should be used in the following sentence:
The bank followed conservative policy in many respects with the exception of corporate lending which gave some advantages.
The intended meaning is as follows: The bank followed conservative policy in many respects, but it didn't follow conservative policy in respect of corporate lending, and this policy gave some advantages.

Remove the comma before and.
