News mean information or reports about recent events, is it wrong if I say "I hear a bad news"

Information never without (s), then how can I say many information??
is it wrong if I say "There are many information still missing"

News means information or reports about recent events. Is it wrong if I say "I heard a bad news."? Yes, it is wrong. You can say, 'I heard some bad news.'

Information is always without (s); then how can I say many information?? 'much infromation' or 'a lot of information'
Sometimes we say 'many pieces of information.'
Is it wrong if I say "There are many information still missing" Yes, it is wrong. See above.

How to say if I want to say a specified thing

Is it right to write :"I received a piece of good news that Mary was promoted to Shop Manager"

If so, is it the same in spoken English?? Still use "a piece of good news" OR only say "good news"?

If so, is it the same in spoken English?? Still use "a piece of good news" OR only say "good news"? "a piece of good news" is not commonly said, but the common measure word for news is "piece". It is much more common to say 'some good news' or just 'good news'.
