Question Comparatives

can you please help me with comparatives? i've always knew the basic rules for compararatives but know i'm totally confused. is it correct to say more scarce and concentrated? shouldn't it be scarcer and more concentrated?

The English language is becoming analytical in every aspect. Forms like 'more clear' or 'more true' are getting more and more popular.
