Then you begin to make it better" ‘let sb. under one’s skin’ Is this a phrase? What does it mean?
There're two definitions regarding the phrase, which one fits in question?
1. If ‘someone gets under your skin’, they annoy you.
2. to affect someone very strongly in a way that is difficult to forget
Something about the haunting beauty of the place really got under my skin. Thanks for the reply. |
