I'm having trouble with the word overall in a text.
The sentence describes the outfit of a lady and it says that she wore a plastic overall tied round her dress.
What does it mean? Is that overall thing like a coat or something like that? The only meaning I know of this word is the clothes that mechanics wearand I don't think that is what she is wearing! lol
