What's the difference?
What's the difference between these sentences?
1- I always have been active
2- I am active
3- I had been mistaken
4- I was mistaken
My explanation:
1- I always have been active (I was working all the day and I've stopped now)
2- I am active (this decribes either a permanent state OR it tells that the speaker is active now after being a bit tired)
3- I had been mistaken (I was discussing a matter with a friend then my corrected my mistakes, so I can say I after dicussing the point, I found out that I'd been mistaken.
4- I was mistaken (I was mistaken when I gave Susan my PC password)

I'm afraid, your use of present perfect in both the sentences is not correct.Past tense is better.
See:ENGLISH PAGE - Present Perfect

More natural: I have always been active.
Being active has always been, and continues to be, part of my lifestyle.
2- I am active
Right now, I am active.
3- I had been mistaken
You had previously held incorrect beliefs which have now been corrected.
It's not really necessary to use past perfect for this.
4- I was mistaken
You were wrong.
