You require the simple infinitive "to know".

"He seems to have known that" is correct.

Sorry Anglika, I am a bit confused about the difference between "He seems to have known that" and "He seems to have come to know" shouldn’t I use "come"?

Please explain.

Without knowing the context, it is hard to say which to use.

He seems to have known that = It appears that he already knew about something

He seems to have come to know about that = it appears that he has heard / learned about something.

Just a quick note about the use of the past participle, which I guess hsb was a bit confused about.



He seems to have known (PP) that
He seems to have come (PP) to know that



Not a teacher BTW.
