You require the simple infinitive "to know".

Re: Please check
Hi Anglika,
Thank you very much for your reply.Should I say "know" or "Known"(P.P.) as in the following sentence?
"He seems to have gone there"
Please help.

Re: Please check
"He seems to have known that" is correct.

Re: Please check
Sorry Anglika, I am a bit confused about the difference between "He seems to have known that" and "He seems to have come to know" shouldn’t I use "come"?
Please explain.

Re: Please check
Without knowing the context, it is hard to say which to use.
He seems to have known that = It appears that he already knew about something
He seems to have come to know about that = it appears that he has heard / learned about something.

Re: Please check
Hello Anglika,
Thank you very much for your reply, this is exactly what I wanted to know.
It's really a great help to me.
Thanks once again,

Re: Please check
Just a quick note about the use of the past participle, which I guess hsb was a bit confused about.
He seems to have known (PP) that
He seems to have come (PP) to know that
Not a teacher BTW.
