I have read this sentence in news site;"Since the structure has since been completely demolished"
Is there something wrong with 'since', I mean the sentence seems awkard.

The first 'since' is conjunction;the secod is time phrase for present perfect.

I still did not get it.
In my opinion it will be like this;' However, since the structure has been completely demolished, the evidence might be elusive.'
is that correct??
