personal check...
< when you write a personal check, the check authorizes the bank to give your money to the person or business whose name is on the check.>
This is just a sentence that i found in English book.
i wonder whose name, which is in the sentence, means the name of someone who write a personal check. if not, why is the name of the business on the check??? (

Re: personal check...
I'm not a teacher.
When you write a check to someone (e.g. to pay them for a service) and you want that check cashed by him/her and only by him/her, then you write their name in the check, along with the sum and your signature.
At other occasions you just write a bearer check.
