Post Question: the actual mortality charges would dictate.

    Example.
Well, specifically dealing with whole life or permanent insurance, this is a product where, typically, we would put more money in than the actual mortality charges would dictate.

    Question.

what's the mean of "mortality charges"?

Also, I'd like to know what the underlined part means.
