I will go to the cinema.
We usually say: I will go to the cinema. It seems a regular expression.
OK, but do we apply the indefinite article "a" to "cinema"? By other words, is "cinema" a countable or an uncountable noun?
Can we say?: I will go to a cinema? I wisited many cinemas.

Re: I will go to the cinema.
Ex: I will go to a cinema around the corner; e.g., one of the many cinemas around the corner.
'a' for any
'the' for specific; e.g., the one around the corner
Ex: the cinema (I, we, know)
Ex: a cinema (any cinema)
Singular: cinema
Plural: cinemas
