It is understandable, however....
as far as I know, in Participial Construction, the subject in the subordinate clause should agree with the one in the main clause...

On the contrary, in an absolute participial construction a participle has its own doer, which is different from the subject of the sentence.
e.g. She walked away, tears streaming down her face.
