A or B?
this question comes from the final text and i really couldn't understand it.
The final match of EURO 2008.........on June 30th.
a.will be occured
b.takes place
c.happening
d.is going
The answer is B but i think it must be A so what do you think? ....

b. is the correct answer. "Occurred" is the past tense of the verb "to occur" "will be" indicates the future, so "will be occurred" is not possible, is it? "Will be occurring" is possible.

Simple present tense is also used to talk about scheduled events in the near future.
The train leaves at 7 pm.
The final match of EURO2008 takes place on June 30.
