Is the guy really capable of installing XP in the laptop? Tell him that the drivers we have may not be the right ones and that he may have to search the Web in order to find the correct ones. In this case, I am pretty sure it's going to take a long time for him to find it on the web. This way, he should not get it started if he cannot get it done.
