Smile general election and universal suffrage

    Good morning, everyone.

Is there any difference between general election and universal suffrage?

    Thank you in advance.

    They are quite different.
A general election is one in which all the elected members of a national or provincial government are elected.
Universal suffrage is the right of all adults to vote in elections.
