Could anyone show me the different between "to" and "till"? :-(

I worked hard from 7AM to 3PM.

I worked to 6PM. incorrect one. the preposition to can't be used without mentioning the time when the action (event) started.
I will be working to dark. incorrect
I worked till/until 6PM. ok
I will be working till dark. ok
I didn't finish the job till evening.
but
I haven't finished the job for two hours.
I haven't finished the job till two hours. completely wrong.
Go on till you hear that I've said stop.
I will be playing tennis tomorrow for at least three hours, actually till I will have been feeling tired. Then I will be going to have a bath.
