I write business letters frequently. At the end of almost all business letters, I usually use cc: and add the name of additional individual who will receive letter - usually an electronic version of letter. I have been told by another individual that cc: is no longer correct - since I am not actually providing a hard copy of letter to the additional person, but am sending letter via email so it's an electronic version. What is correct abbreviation?
