If the thought of your closet stresses you out, it might be time to clean it out. Despite what you see on home improvement shows like Clean House and Trading Spaces, you don't have to install a thousand dollar customized closet system to get organized. All it takes is a willingness to purge and a few inexpensive and innovative space-saving tools.
It was a great strain on my attention in order to
If we take for granted that “it takes” took its stand on the following meaning “take”= “to require (something) as a basic necessity” as in, “It takes money to live in that town”, so “all it takes” = “all that is necessary”.

Re: all it takes
Correct. It means all that is required.
If we consider“it takes” gets its meaning from“take”= “to require (something) as a basic necessity”....

Re: all it takes
Thank you for your confirming reply.
Thank you also for your suggested corrections. Will you take the trouble to see the following excerpts from my Dictionary? 2. base o’s arguments = take up o’s stand on
3. supposition = a judgment, estimate, or opinion arrived at by guessing ; synonym guesswork
3. to witness = to confirm formally as true, accurate, or genuine; to attest to the legality or authenticity of by signing one's name to
Thank you again for your exactingness.
