Default XXth American literature

Hi colleagues,

I have been teaching English for many years, but now I have a problem. I have been requested to teach xxth century American Literature next semester and I do not know how to start the course or to make the course syllabus. I have checked the school library and there is nothing available on that topic.

Could you please give me some advice on how to work this out?
Thanks a lot
Blanca
