Can I say that "the good side of", "the up side of" and "the positive side of" mean basically the same and are the opposite of "the bad side of", "the down side of" and "the negative side of"?

I would certainly understand what you meant if you used each of those descriptors. I'm sure there are shades of difference if one wanted to get technical, but for me the answer to your question is 'yes'.
