4)The main streets.
That very year ,in the prime of life ,they were more shabby .I with brother from Fu-Jian Province in more than 3 years and a half ,went to wander groundlessly ,to stagger?/wobble? to no purpose if we were spare , and almost pressed/grinded?/crushed? all shabby streets and lanes?/alleys?:oops::oops::oops:.

This is really not comprehensible. My nearest take on it is:

That year, [they - who or what is "they"?] were shabbier. I and a friend from Fu-Jian Province, who I had known for three and a half years, wandered aimlessly and without purpose, as if we were lost, and were almost crushed by the shabbiness of the streets and lanes.
