well, with the sentence I want to say that I completely agree with something. I remember that it is the former that just expresses my thoughts, but my friend says that it is the latter, and she's so sure about her choice.

"I couldn't agree more" is the term you want.
You were closer than your friend was. "I can't agree any more" means "I can no longer agree", or "I don't agree any more"
