Can anyone tell me the meaning of:
A good hiding,
donkey work,
a dog with two tails
and a red rag to a bull?
a dog with two tails
A dog wags its tail when it's happy, excited. A dog having two tails to wag, and both wagging, must be very happy indeed!

2 From a Chinese dictionary_______
the coll the hard , often physical or tiring part of a job , piece of work , etc:
It is often the young , less experienced people who get left to do the donkey work while those with more experience do more interesting things.
The professor writes the book , but his assistants have to do the donkey work of checking all references.
3 like a dog with two tails:somebody is very happy.
You couldn't have given Andrew a more welcome present than that bicycle ; he was pleased as a dog with two tails.
4 the thing/matter which makes one feel angry

'a good hiding' : 'hiding' here means a physical beating.
"You cheeky devil! Just wait till your father gets home. You're in for a good hiding, young man!"
'red rag to a bull' : it was thought that bulls would react aggressively to the colour red. So, the idea of somebody waving a red rag at a bull would be sure to get the bull to charge and try to gore them. As as idiom, it means that you what you are saying or doing/going to do is sure to make another person angry.
'donkey work' : donkeys are traditionally used to carry loads of goods on their poor backs - before cars and trains, and now, when usual forms of moving supplies is not possible because of the terrain and only donkeys can, say, climb up and down a very narrow path to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. So - for a person to be said to be doing the 'donkey work', he is being made to do the laborious, boring part of a job.
