    Default Rephrasing

    Hi,

Can I please have some ways to say the following line differently?

I am sorry, something has come up that I need to take care of.

    Your replies are eagerly awaited.

    Thank you.

I think your sentence is fine as it stands. Is this for an e-mail or a notice-board?

I presume it is said in a conversation.

    How about:
Can I be excused? Something has come up that I need to attend to.

Thank you for your such a helpful response, Anglika.

It's a phone text. I just want to know some other ways of saying it just to learn how to express one thing differently. If one has sent it and next time he wants to send the same message in a different style, how can he do so?

    Thanks again for your help.
