    Smile Sales Territory (Cartoon)

    Hi!

Could someone intrepret the cartoon for me? I fail to crack the case.

Rex, come here and mark your territory
    Thank you!

The previous one was about 'cat with nine lives'.
I think this one is about another idiom 'dog eat dog'.

    Thank you!
Salesmen have different territories to work in to prevent an oversupply or undersupply in any area.
A dog marks his territory by lifting his leg and urinating on trees etc.
Rex is being asked to mark his territory on the map.

Tedtmc & Raymott, thank you for your responses.

Tedtmc: but those dogs sit there very politely rather than fighting each other.

Raymott: I think the dogs probably just can urinate on the corner of the wall rather than on the map which is being hung so high. Thus, how could Rex mark his territory?

Yes, the dogs certainly could urinate on the corner of the wall, but that wouldn't be very funny by itself.
Thus, how could Rex mark his territory? Well, it would be difficult. But that's what he's being asked to do - that's part of the joke.
Maybe the concept of salesdogs being asked to piss on a map on the wall isn't so funny in China?

    Hello Raymott,

After mulling it over, I think your interpretation is correct. Thanks for your help.

But in my view, it is an insulting cartoon.

    Well, you posted it!
Perhaps you mean "offensive". It's not insulting anyone.
