Somebody who behaves in a way which is disapproved of by those guiding and guarding the morals of the younger generation is termed a 'poor/bad role model'
The problem is when somebody is regarded as a good role model and is idolized by teenagers, and then turns out to be a drug addict : it suddenly turns it all on its head - if our idol can take drugs, then it can't be that bad etc. Feet of clay, feet of clay.
(this person may also work as a 'model' =employed to display clothes by wearing them.) She works as a model, and as for her behaviour, she is a good/poor role model.
