Can you provide the context in which you heard it or read it?

I am listening to bbc online. They are talking about a famous model that seems to be drug addict and nobody knew it until she
went to hospital. I think they are saying the word "raw model".
    Am I right?

They were saying 'role model' =a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated.
Somebody who behaves in a way which is disapproved of by those guiding and guarding the morals of the younger generation is termed a 'poor/bad role model'

The problem is when somebody is regarded as a good role model and is idolized by teenagers, and then turns out to be a drug addict : it suddenly turns it all on its head - if our idol can take drugs, then it can't be that bad etc. Feet of clay, feet of clay.

(this person may also work as a 'model' =employed to display clothes by wearing them.) She works as a model, and as for her behaviour, she is a good/poor role model.
