Hi Asha, welcome to the forums.
Your question about spoken English and how to improve it is a bit difficult one. You can improve your grammar and writing skills by asking to "ask a teacher" threads. As far listening to English, then there are some commercial packages advertised in this site. You can also listen to BBC Radio, which is running some special programmes for English learners and provides you with most accurate prnounciations and apt usages of words. You can also listen to All India Radio and watch Doordarshan UGC programmes for the same. You also have one foreign language department at Hyderabad university in Andhra Pradesh. Rest you can talk to your friends and relatives and classmates to improve your English speaking skills, who would correct your mistakes there and then only.
