What does 'by your guy' means?

In an email my daughter sent recently she wrote, "Do you want me to look for something by your guy?" I know she was asking if I wanted her to buy something for me, but what does 'by your guy' means anyways?

In addition, I guess "your guy" can be known as "your sweetheart" if your friend is female.

I think she meant: "Do you want me to look for something for your guy?" or
"Do you want me to look for something to buy for your guy?" Perhaps she thinks you have a man stashed away somewhere.

i am not a teacher but what i can interpret from this that she is asking you does she need to look for something from the guy you know or with whom you were doing the business for quite some tiem,.
