A: How do you do this math question?

B: I forgot how to do it. (What does this mean? I know this is past tesne but what does it mean?
B: I forget how to do it. (What does this mean? I know this is past tesne but what does it mean?

Which one would I use? 'Forget' or 'forgot'? Why?

What do these mean?
1. I forgot how to do it.
2. I forgot how you do it.
